Have you checked out Flock? It’s also from Mozilla and it’s the first “social web browser” on the Internet. It seems pretty sweet - especially for heavy users of social networks. Learn more about it here.

Just how in the world is Opera more customizable then firefox I find that hard to believe and I have both browsers. Plus the speed thing is wrong Opera isn’t faster its easy to configure firefox to be faster with the fasterfox plugin. Opera loads slow on pages with tons of content because it requires everything to already be loaded on the site before it displays it.

AnimeFanChris: Opera is easier to customize and you can customize pretty much everything.

Opera is also faster. To make FF faster you must download a plugin, thats why FF loose that one.

AnimeFanChris: In my setup it redraws the page after every second while loading. You can costumize that unter +12 -> Advanced -> Browsing -> Loading. No idea what’s the default…

Hey I know IE is the worst but for some reason I always prefer IE over other when doing an online transactions.

  7. Simon Says:

The download interface in Opera is better than the one in FF and IE.

So the “Want to download A LOT of stuff?” should be changed to: “Want to download alot of extra programs until you get a fully featured web browser”.

Also the Links panel/tab in Opera let you select multiple links of a page and download them all. Natively.

I have the Links and Transfers tabs open and locked at the top ( yes the top, I place my tabs on the right hand side of the browser window ‘coz I value more vertical space than horizontal space ).
