Lightbox JS by Lokesh Dhakar

This is one of the coolest scripts I’ve seen on a long time. It is basically a script that shows your images. But in a pleasant way. Well, this is how Lokesh Dhakar, the one who has made the script, explains what it really is:

Lightbox JS is a simple, unobtrusive script used to overlay images on the current page. It’s a snap to setup and works on all modern browsers.

This script works on all major browsers and you can easily use it and install it on any host or free blog service you would like too (Blogger.com etc etc) as it is managed by JavaScript and CSS. No flash or anything!

Update: An new version of this script is available: Lightbox JS v2.0
