I canceled with Blazernetwork after several frustrating interactions. Here is the e-mail I sent when I canceled, which details why I left:

I'm a web consultant who has used Blazernetwork for my personal site and for my domain name hosting for three years, and I've recommended your company to several of my clients. However, I will no longer be using your services, and I can no longer recommend Blazernetwork or Web Hosting International to my customers. In fact, I have to recommend that they avoid using you.

I would have been happy to stay with Blazernetwork, but for the third year in a row you redirected my domain name, darylgregory.com, to an ad site, with no warning. The first two years this happened I complained and was assured that I would receive some kind of advance notice. Below you'll see that you gave me an alert that payment was due, but the domain redirection occured a few hours after the e-mail was sent, well in advance of Nov. 28. My first alert that this had happened was when several colleagues e-mailed me.

Then, to top it off, when I called to transfer my domain name to another provider so I could keep my Blazernet web hosting service but have the domain name hosted with someone else, I was told that you would not provide an authorization code to allow the transfer until I had re-subscribed for another year. (See my e-mails with Diaz for a record of this.) This is obviously ridiculous -- customers can't end service until they purchase another year? In effect, you're holding domain names hostage. In the end I paid for another year with WHI, and then immediately transferred my domain name to another provider. I also decided that I had to move my web hosting to a company that took customer service more seriously.

Hopefully this message will be passed to someone in charge of account management and sales. I have no idea why you would antagonize recurring customers -- keeping a customer is a lot cheaper than trying to win a new one -- but obviously your systems and policies need to change.

For all those victims of Blazer Network, here is some information that might ionterest you. This company is owned by Britt Kelly, who apparently is a candidate to appear on a Donald Treump Show. (Draw your own conclusions). Here is a published review of him with his private telephone number.1-404-630-1080
:"eb Hosting Company Atlanta Web Hosting Entrepreneur Apprentice for Trump?
anonymous writes "Apprentice Candidate takes a cue from Trump, using his company's resources to promote himself as a candidate for The Apprentice Season Two.

Kelly Britt, Founder of "Need A Dot Com?" announced the creation of the web site KellyBritt.com, aimed at making him the candidate to beat on the next season of Trump's reality show "The Apprentice". As the owner of the successful Atlanta-based web hosting company, "Need A Dot Com?", Kelly Britt believes he has "the energy, enthusiasm and character that Trump is looking for in the next Apprentice." Sam Solveny of the First Season of The Apprentice agrees. After reviewing Britt's website and audition tape Sam wrote, "It sounds like you have the personality to go far."

Britt created this web site highlighting his "ability to act on an opportunity before anyone else." Having the foresight to seize opportunities is nothing new to Britt. Before the Internet boom, Britt purchased the domain name autos.com for $35.00, eventually selling it for $2.2 million. When others discouraged him from investing in the Internet, Britt simply saw this as another challenge. Today Britt is the owner of many web hosting companies, the flagship of which is "Need A Dot Com?".

"Being selected the next Apprentice is not just about jumping up and down and waving signs in a line," Britt explains. "It's about showing creative ways to overcome challenges as ethically as possible." Ethical decision-making is a challenge facing many corporate leaders today (as even seen on "The Apprentice"). Britt stands as a businessperson who is not afraid of bringing strong ethics into the workplace. Aside from beginning "Need A Dot Com?" meetings with a prayer, Britt has been involved in community services such as prison ministries and he sponsors underprivileged children and adults in YMCA programs.

Britt knows that the site KellyBritt.com may expose him to criticism. Still, he believes "this site gets beyond the hype surrounding the show and exposes me as a real and viable candidate." As highlighted by Trump himself in Season One of The Apprentice, those candidates who take risks are the winners of challenges.

You have seen the mobs and contestants waiting in long lines, KellyBritt.com is a look at a serious contender for the next Apprentice. We will see if The Donald agrees.
